The modern Hebrew Cursive (MHC) evolved from the standard Square Hebrew print alphabet in Ashkenazi communities. This infographic shows the key steps of that evolution, and how the non-Hebrew reader can master MHC (and through it, printed Square Hebrew) by mirroring and adapting standard Roman (English) characters to suit the natural tendencies of the writing hand.
